How do I create an account?

Welcome! Here, you'll find out how to create a new Slang account. As for now, There are two ways to join Slang: being an individual user or being part of an organization that has a Slang implementation. 

I'm an individual user

If you want to join Slang on your own, all you have to do is go to the sign up page. Once you're there, you can choose between signing up with your email or signing up with a Google account. 

Take into account that you'll have a 7 day trial offer. When the trial is over, if you wish to keep studying and improving your English with us, you can learn more about how to upgrade your account here. On the other hand, without a subscription you'll only have access to two courses:

• Beginner 1
• COVID-19: English for Infectious Disease Control

I'm part of an Organization

Create your account through an Invitation

If your organization has a Slang implementation, you can apply for the program directly with your organization. Once this process is over, you'll receive an invitation with the email that you used to apply. You can look for an email in your inbox with the subject "Slang — Join the [name of the Organization] organization". Then, all you have to do is follow the steps bellow to create your account.

⚠️ Warning! If you tried to accept the invitation and got an error message (Invalid Invitation), it means that either you've already accepted the invitation or you're trying to accept an invitation with an incorrect registered email; try to sign in first.

Create your account directly on the platform

Alternatively, you can also activate your account going directly to our website. Then, all you have to do is following the steps bellow to create your account.

1. Access the link: https://learn.slangapp.com/sign-up
2. Type in the email registered by your organization and click the "Next" button
3. Type in your name and the password you'd like to use
4. Click the "Sign Up" button.
5. Done! You'll be redirected to your brand new Slang account 🎉

Create your account through SSO (Single Sign On)

If your organization chose the SSO sign up option, it means that you can create your account using the credentials of an account you already have. You'll just have to follow the steps bellow.

1. Access the link: https://learn.slangapp.com/sign-up
2. Type in the email registered by your organization and click the "Next" button
3. Click the Sign up with [your Organization's name] button
4. Log in to your account
5. Done! You'll be redirected to your brand new Slang account 🎉
