What is a property?
Welcome! 👋 Here you'll learn about what are Learning Path's properties.
A property is an attribute that can be assigned to any learner within an organization, allowing managers to organize and filter learners more efficiently. For now, a learner can only have a single option from each property assigned (e.g. a learner couldn’t have multiple roles assigned).
Property fields appear for every user in an organization, even if an option isn’t assigned (displaying as “None”). Although fields can be empty, it’ll make it easier to manage learners if every property field is populated for each learner. Role properties are essential for learning paths.
Properties ≠ Groups
The difference between properties and groups is that a group is a collection of learners regardless of any attribute, while a property is an attribute assigned to a learner or a group of learners.
