What do my employees have to do to move up to the next level in their Online Classes?
The minimum score each learner needs to advance to the next level is 70%. This grade is calculated after summing the results of three evaluation criteria, with their respective percentages and descriptions as follows:
- Successful completion of the General English Course in the Learn App (40% of the overall grade): Completing the course corresponding to the class level is essential for advancement.
- Attendance to at least 80% of the classes (40% of the overall grade): Continuous participation in classes is crucial for improvement. We know that occasional absences will be inevitable sometimes, but maintaining a good attendance record is a requirement for moving to a higher level.
- Oral communication performance assessment (20% of the overall grade): This test, conducted by the teacher during the final class of the level, will be key in measuring each learner's progress. In general, your employees should aim to pass this evaluation to demonstrate that they have understood and applied the skills established at their current level.
For example: If your employee:
- Completed 80% of their course in the Learn App
- Attended 85% of their Online Classes
- Achieved a score of 70% in the oral assessment
Their overall grade is:
(80% x 40%) + (85% x 40%) + (70% x 20%) = 80%
In this case, they have an overall score that allows them to advance to the next level!
